Our staff shared what they love about school in this bulletin board inspired by the book, The Crayons go Back to School by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers. In the book, the crayons share what they love about school. The display is set up just outside the library so all the students will get a chance to read the responses. As you can see, our staff really likes the color purple!
We have ordered a copy of the book for our library along with three extra copies to give away to students using our Maude Clifford Trailblazers "Be Your Best" awards. The shorter version is the MCTBYB which we call the McTibby. McTibbys go in the orange MCTBYB bucket and names are drawn at assemblies and throughout the year.
